Mermaid Marine Products, founded in 1973 by Pierre Villeneuve, has grown by leaps and bounds from the small diesel engine and transmission shop to its current modern computerized depot. Stocking everything from stainless steel screws to Velvet Drive transmissions. Mermaid also carries the full Sierra line of after market outboards and inboard/outboard parts, which is available in a separate catalogue. Pierre Villeneuve and his two sons, Christian and Patrick, have been around pleasure and fishing boats most of their life, giving their customers a very knowledgeable team at their disposal.

Mermaid Marine Products is currently supplying to boat builders, engines and transmissions repair shops, marine supply stores, fish processing plants and cooperatives.

Their broad dealer network in Eastern Canada provides customers from all corners of the Maritimes with local support in service and parts supply.

Customer Service is one of the  many reasons why Mermaid Marine Products is where it is today. Orders are processed promptly and shipped the same day. Other factors such as prices, bilingual staff, inventory and technical support on all their merchandise have all been contributing in Mermaid Marine's amazing rate of expansion.

All equipment sold by Mermaid Marine Products is serviced in house (except for electronics). Thus keeping the turn around time to a minimum and can be shipped back out the same day on rush items. This quick turn around time is especially good for warranty products and extremely valued during fishing season.
